Editorial Review
The Q1 Pro is Keychron's wireless flagship in the Q-series and the first Q-series board to add proper multi-device Bluetooth alongside the brand's usual wired QMK/VIA experience. The full CNC aluminum case retains the gasket mount design that made the original Q1 a community favorite, giving a soft, slightly bouncy typing feel that's rare at this price point.
The south-facing hotswap PCB is a meaningful upgrade over Keychron's earlier north-facing boards — it clears more keycap profiles without stem interference and produces a cleaner RGB shine-through. Battery life on a single charge runs 8-10 days with RGB off, which is typical for a board this size with per-key lighting hardware installed.
Where the Q1 Pro earns its 'Pro' badge is switching between three devices via Bluetooth with a dedicated toggle, on top of full QMK/VIA support for remapping — a combination few wireless mechanical boards offer at any price. The main tradeoff versus the wired-only Q1 is a slightly taller case to fit the battery, which changes typing angle slightly for some users.
